The Puuc Style: The Maya architecture style called “Puuc” comes from the low hills of Yucatán called the Puuc (“Hills” in English) region, located at the north of Campeche and southwest of Yucatán States. It is characterized by the use of well carved stones and the use of light and shadow contrasts in their faҫades. Uxmal, Sayíl, Xlapak, Kabah, Muyil Xcal’umkín, Kanki and Edzná are good examples of this style.

harijiwan-2012

Penumbral lunar eclipses happen when the Moon travels through the faint penumbral portion of the Earth’s shadow. This penumbral lunar eclipse on November 28, 2012,  will be the last eclipse of the year. People in Alaska, Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia, and most of Asia can see the eclipse. Uxmal is not a place where the eclips is visible.
PHOTO: Harijiwan plays the gong. The sound of the gong becomes the sound of the Universe. Within this sound and resound we relax, stress departs, healing, rejuvenation occurs as we journey into the sublime vibratory field of all that is within us, of all that we are, of all that we come from. We resonate with pleasure, joy and bliss.
Harijiwan has been teaching Kundalini Yoga since 1975. He is available for consulting, face reading, meditation and yoga, hypnosis, gong intensives and workshops for personal transformation and increased projection of intention. He works with both corporate and private clients to assist in relationship, financial, personal and spiritual development. With over 30 years of experience in the science of Kundalini yoga, Harijiwan incorporates a vast knowledge of various methodologies and training into his practice. His insight and application of this technology is unique offering the participant a chance to fully benefit from the multiple aspects of these ancient, yet timely teachings. For many years Harijiwan directly served his teacher, Yogi Bhajan, while traveling the world extensively with him. This opportunity, to study with and observe a living master, provided him with invaluable insight into the nature of consciousness and the human condition, as well as a thorough understanding of the impact, interplay and significance of the various planetary and inter-planetary energy fields. Today, and throughout his years as a teacher and healer, Harijiwan remains committed to expanding his knowledge and experience to provide his students and clients with the most progressive, effective, self-empowering approaches that increase over-all joy and wholeness within the context of every day experiences.

KUNDALINI MEDITATION AND GONG HEALING
Kundalini’s Master Yogi Bhajan has given us the secrets to entering the vast mystic space of the gong. Before playing the gong we offer a prayer. With reverence, through the harmony of the mind within the waves of sound, in the humility of our devotion, we ask to be allowed to enter the infinite space. The sound of the gong allows us to move beyond the boundaries of the mind where we have constructed our own unique version of reality. Think of the human body as a Divine instrument with strings. We are composed of seventy-two surs or strings. Only the gong can produce this combination of space vibrations. This unlimited sound vibrates and creates light, creates life. Regular listening to the gong will re-pattern your magnetic field, open you to the vastness of your own psyche, and release you from all that prevents you from living a life of complete and utter happiness.

ABOUT THE PUUC ROUTE

THE PUUC STYLE The Maya architecture style called “Puuc” comes from the low hills of Yucatán called the Puuc (“Hills” in English) region, located at the north of Campeche and southwest of Yucatán States. It is characterized by the use of well carved stones and the use of light and shadow contrasts in their faҫades.

Uxmal, Sayíl, Xlapak, Kabah, Muyil Xcal’umkín, Kanki and Edzná are good examples of this style.

As aforementioned, the term Puuc is used to describe the architectural style and the geographic area, called THE PUUC ROUTE in the Yucatán Peninsula, where the majority of the landscape is flat; there is a large portion that has small hills, called Puuc.

The landscape is called “Karstic”, that is, due to subterranean drainage and absence of rivers and lakes, caves and sinkholes were formed. There are several archaeological sites with the same architectural style in the Puuc Route and the best example of it is Uxmal.
